We are a small but active tennis club established in 2008, based in Cloughey, on the Ards Peninsula in County Down. We play all year round on our all-weather, floodlit courts. In 2016, Ards North Down Council replaced our 2 old courts with 3 new ‘state of the art’ outdoor carpet courts for all-year-round play.
Anyone thinking of taking up tennis is welcomed to have a free trial without any obligation to join. Just come along to one of our open mixed ability club-play sessions (Tues 6.30-9.30pm or Sat 3.00-5.00pm) and have a game with us and see how we operate. Rackets are available on loan – just wear tennis shoes or trainers! OR contact club coach Alistair Dunn 07801-37444 to arrange a free session.
We are based in the Tennis & Bowls complex at Cloughey Pavilion beside the Warren sandhills area beside Cloughey beach. There is a large public car park alongside the Main Road and you can’t miss it.
We have regular coaching courses for adult beginners and our subscription rates are very reasonable, especially as we play all year round.
Our Junior section is particularly active and plays all year round with junior coaching sessions. The club also has a Junior Committee, established in 2023. See the Junior Tennis page for more information.
We are an open and inclusive club and new members and visitors are always welcomed.
